The Business Journal Top Women-Owned Business
On Friday, February 17, 2017 The Business Journal published their top women owned businesses in Central Valley list. RSVP Style was listed as number 25 and we couldn't be more proud!
In the early 2000s, our mom and step dad were building the Palatine Building. During this time, my sister Stephanie and I had just made our brother's wedding invitations, which sparked a rush of family and friends asking us to make their party invitations as well. Our mom, Sonya Gage, possessing the truest form of optimistic entrepreneurial spirit simply asked her then 14 and 16-year-old children, "Do you want to open a store to sell invitations in the new building?" Having no clue what we were committing to, we energetically said, "Yes!" And RSVP was born. Since then, RSVP has expanded into a fine invitation and gift boutique. Our sister store, Stems at The Palatine, provides daily florals and event design and coordination services. Together, we specialize in the bridal and event industries, and everyday gift, home, and garden collections!
Our design team consists of Sonya (Gianni Fine Jewelers), Gina and Stephanie (RSVP Style), and Mary (Stems at The Palatine). We are all predominantly woman owned and run companies that strive to create a one-of-a-kind destination in the Central Valley. Our team is composed of Fresno State Alumni and current students, proud to work among strong, hard-working women.
Our businesses are full of extraordinary women who are passionate, creative, and determined. This year has been full of great things for us and we are excited to keep thriving and being a part of the wonderful celebrations in the lives of the Central Valley and beyond.
